Privacy Policy

DevToolsHub ("we", "the service") is a community catalog for sharing Cursor tools, MCPs, rules, and skills. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with email, Google, or GitHub, we store your email address, and (for OAuth) your display name and avatar URL provided by that provider.
• Content you submit. Items you publish (titles, descriptions, guidance, code, repository links, tags), ratings, and comments.
• Preferences. Your language choice and notification settings.
• Push data. If you enable browser push notifications, we store the push subscription endpoint for your device.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you and operate your account.
• To display the catalog, attribute submissions, and power ratings and comments.
• To send notifications (email, browser push, or RSS) about new approved items, only through the channels you enable.
• To moderate content and enforce our rules (e.g. blocking abusive accounts).

Service providers

We rely on the following processors to run the service:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Vercel — hosting.
• Google & GitHub — optional OAuth sign-in.
• Resend — email delivery (only if email notifications are enabled).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (your authentication session). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile; content you contributed may be retained in anonymized form for catalog integrity.
